ECMC Foundation Contributes $20,000 to Louisiana Flood Relief Effort

September 02, 2016

ECMC Foundation announced it has donated $20,000 to help National Guard soldiers impacted by the recent floods in south Louisiana. The donation was made at the annual conference of the Enlisted Association of the National Guard, held Aug. 21-24 in New Orleans.

“Throughout the cleanup effort, we have seen first-hand the amazing dedication of the national guard soldiers, who have given tirelessly of their time and talents - even when their own homes were impacted,” said Peter Taylor, president of ECMC Foundation. “We are humbled by their acts of kindness and hope this donation will help these soldiers who have so unselfishly provided support to others in need.”

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) operates the We Care For America Foundation - a 501(c)3 organization that offers grants to National Guard Service Members who have been impacted by a natural disaster and are in financial need. Nearly $100,000 was raised for the We Care For America Foundation during the EANGUS annual conference.
