With community college enrollments down nearly 17% between the spring 2020 term and the spring 2022 term, the Center on Education & Labor at New America developed the Bringing Adults Back to Community College Playbook for institutions to better engage, recruit, enroll and serve adult students based on findings from a project to re-enroll those who left college before completing. The playbook contains findings and recommendations stemming from a project involving six community colleges:

• Harry S. Truman College—one of the City Colleges of Chicago
• Prairie State College
• Southwestern Oregon Community College
• Mt. Hood Community College
• Delgado Community College
• Fletcher Technical Community College
