Crawford is breaking barriers to technology for students in alternative schools. She loves her work because she is "changing the landscape of how students learn in a security setting."

Dr. Marybeth Gasman, Professor and Founding Director of Penn Center for Minority Serving Institution (MSIs) at the University of Pennsylvania
There is not a day that goes by that Dr. Gasman doesn't think about equity. She founded the Penn Center for MSIs, which supports more than 600 MSIs institutions across the nation. She says, "leading the Center has been the most challenging and most rewarding part of my career and I love every minute of it."
