ECMC Foundation 2023 Annual Report
We are pleased to share ECMC Foundation’s 2023 Annual Report, Catalyzing Postecondary Transformation, now available to read and explore online.
Our theme, Catalyzing Postsecondary Transformation, recognizes the urgent need for systemic change in higher education. Our work to achieve this change is now guided by our North Star, an audacious yet attainable goal approved by our Board of Directors: By 2040 equity gaps in postsecondary completion are eliminated, so that underserved learners have greater opportunity for social and economic mobility. This goal directly aligns with ECMC Foundation’s mission to improve higher education for career success among underserved populations through evidence-based innovation.
In 2023, the Foundation awarded more than $56 million in grants and program-related investments, bringing our total funding to nearly $335 million since inception. Our Annual Report explores just some of the innovative projects we funded in 2023 and details how our strategic evolution continues to unfold.
