Bryan Fahrbach supports the work of the program team in several ways, including meeting with potential applicants to understand how their work aligns with the Foundation’s funding priorities and advise them on the grant application process, reviewing grant proposals and reports, and managing the Foundation’s employee engagement grantmaking programs. Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Bryan was a program associate on the health team at California Community Foundation, supporting the administration of $15 million in federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act funds from the Los Angeles Department of Public Health to hire and train over 900 community health workers to conduct outreach and education about COVID-19 in the hardest hit areas of Los Angeles County. Previously, he was an organizational learning specialist at First 5 LA, developing and conducting structured sessions for project teams to reflect and capture learnings in a safe space to promote continuous improvement.

Bryan holds a BA in French and Italian from Indiana University Bloomington.
